01 THE CHALLENGE

Advanced Family Eyecare has been a family-owned private practice since 2006. Two clinics, one in Lakeville and one in Apple Valley. Three optometrists. A full optical with designer frames and a 2-year scratch warranty on every lens. Patients rate it 4.9 on Google.

A patient coming to an eye clinic website wants to do one of four things. Book an exam. Reorder contacts. Check whether their insurance is accepted. Find the office. The old site made every one of those take longer than it should, and it gave a 20-year practice with three doctors the look of a single-chair shop. In the south metro, where every strip mall has an optical, that costs appointments.

02 THE APPROACH

Working alongside Ensemble Creative + Marketing, The Creative Depot rebuilt advanced-familyeye.com around the four jobs a patient shows up to do.

1. Book, Reorder, Pay, From Any Page

Scheduling runs through Weave and sits in the header on every page, so a patient never hunts for it. Contact lens reorders go to the practice’s online store in one click. Bill pay for each location links straight to Weave as well. The site doesn’t try to handle any of it. It gets the patient to the tool that does and stays out of the way.

2. Six Pages, Nothing Buried

Eye Exams, Frames, Contact Lenses, Insurance, About, Contact. That is the whole site, and that is on purpose. The exam page lists the six services the practice offers, from pediatric care to glaucoma management to same-day visits for pink eye and eye trauma. The contact lens page names all 10 lens types the clinic carries or special orders, down to keratoconus and prosthetic lenses. The insurance page answers the question in one sentence: in-network for VSP, EyeMed, BCBS, Medica, HealthPartners, and UHC.

3. Answers Before the Phone Call

The FAQ on the homepage covers what the front desk hears every day. What age a child needs a first exam. Whether health insurance covers it. When kids can start contacts. Whether an optometrist can treat pink eye. Whether astigmatism rules out contacts. Each answer is written the way Dr. Ahrar would say it in the chair, which is what makes it rank and what makes an AI search engine quote it.

4. Three Doctors and a Real Staff

The About page introduces Dr. Ahrar, Dr. Shari Anderson, and Dr. Robert Anderson with their schools, externships, and specialties, then lists the eight opticians, coordinators, and assistants by name. Live Google reviews pull in on the homepage. A new patient can see who they’ll meet and what other patients said before they book.

03 THE OUTCOME

Advanced Family Eyecare now has a site that matches the practice. Two locations, three doctors, and a full optical read that way on the first screen. Booking, reordering, and bill pay are one click from anywhere. The insurance question is answered before anyone calls to ask it. And the pages that explain exams, lenses, and frames are written to be found by a parent searching for a kids’ eye exam in Lakeville.

The site is also easy to keep current. New staff go on the About page. New lens types go on the list. Reviews update on their own. None of it needs a developer.
